American Literary (AmLit) is American University’s literary magazine and creative arts outlet on campus. The magazine is published twice a year, and features poetry, short prose, photos, and art submitted by the campus community.

American Word (AmWord) is American University’s news magazine, published monthly. Its sections include The Word (Opinions), Politics, Lifestyle, Entertainment, and Sports & Fitness. AmWord is a great opportunity for students to flex their writing skills and have their work published.

ATV

American Television (ATV) is American University’s student-run television station, which broadcasts 24/7 on campus cable channels 2 and 15, and streams online. ATV produces nearly a dozen shows, and provides students with a unique environment to gain hands-on experience working in the fields of video production and broadcast journalism.
